Brief Description
Green and white shoes worn by Ron Delany (Ireland) during the final of the 1500 metres race at the 1956 Olympics. Ron Delany, gold medal winner, Final 1500 meters. Green and white leather, white laces. Four spikes in each toe. Right shoe has two brown plastic spike guards, remainder are missing. Very faint handwritten inscription on sole of both shoes.
