Brief Description
A shield shaped metallic badge with enamelled designs. The shield features three vertical stripes running down the centre upon a yellow field. Above is an interpretation of the Olympic rings emblem, where the five rings are linked chain-like. At the base of the badge is the text, "VIET-NAM CONG HOA". [Translated from Vietnamese, reads, "Republic of Vietnam".] Badge was presented to Malayan featherweight weightlifter, Koh Eng Tong, during the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games.
