Brief Description
Metal badge worn by an official in the 1908 London Olympic Games. The cast metal design is of a rosette with broad stylised petals that surround a blue enamelled circular border containing the low relief profile of a male wearing an ornate helmet. Text within enamel border reads "OLYMPIC GAMES LONDON 1908 / UMPIRE". Large horizontal pin and loop attachment on reverse.
