Brief Description
A silver plated metallic badge shaped in the form of the emblem of the Australian Olympic Committee during the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. It comprises of map of Australia, flanked by a kangaroo and an emu, crowned above the Olympic Rings. Below the rings, is a boomerang, with the year '1956' engraved at the centre.
