Brief Description
A two piece metallic badge - linked by a short chain - with enamelled designs. The upper portion of the badge features a dark blue and light blue disc divided by a gold bar. featuring the text: 'LIFE MEMBER'. The lower portion, connected to the upper by a short gold chain features a shield. The shield features two diagonally crossed oars, with alternating fields of dark and light blue in each quadrant. In each quadrant there is also a letter, which all together read: 'R.M.B.C.' In the chief of the shield is the image of a white fish. This life membership badge was presented to Wally Jarvis, who, along with seven other Murray Bridge Rowing Club members, formed the Eights rowing team representing Australia at the 1924 Paris Olympic Games.
