Brief Description
A blue and purple "replacement ticket" to the Main Stadium (Melbourne Cricket Ground) during the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Ticket number is '510'. One of a limited number of Chairman's Reserve tickets, issued and personally signed by the Chairman of the Organising Committee for the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, Sir Wilfrid S. Kent Hughes. The Chairman's Reserve was a section of premier seats located in the 1927 Pavilion at the Main Stadium. Ticket is dated, by hand, for events taking place on 24 November 1956.
