Brief Description
Bronze badge featuring former flag of now defunct Soviet Union with pin attachment on reverse. Badge is cast and has a red metallic enamelled surface. The surface is smooth featuring small ripples to give the effect of fabric. The flagpost is bare bronze as is the high relief star, hammer, sickle and border of the flag. The star, hammer and sickle appear in the upper left corner of the flag. The flagpost has a small decorative tear-shaped crown and a tasselled rope that is fully attached and extends from this point along the top edge of the flag.
