Brief Description
A swap card album, containing 42 swap cards. The cards contained within are from two distinct sets. One set is of Olympic Sports and Venues from the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games, and Flags and Floral emblems of 1956 Olympic Games Countries. This set was issued by the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games Organising Committee. The second is a generic Flags of the World set. The date '1957' is handwritten on the front cover. As indicated by the childhood graffiti throughout the album, it originally contained Film Star and Horse swap cards, but these were replaced by Olympic Games cards following the excitement of the 1956 Games.
