Brief Description
A 16-page (cover exclusive) programme. Green and white cover features the 1948 London Olympics logo, comprising the Olympic rings with the clock tower of the Houses of Parliament in the background, and the image of a hurdler. Inscription: 'XIVTH OLYMPIAD/LONDON 1948/ATHLETICS/at the/EMPIRE STADIUM WEMBLEY/THURSDAY AUGUST 5TH 1948/OFFICIAL PROGRAMME ONE SHILLING'. Besides Athletics, the programme also contains information on the Lacrosse Olympic Demonstration match played between Rensselaer (U.S.A.) and All England.
