Brief Description
An 8-page (cover exclusive) programme. Red and white cover features the 1956 Olympics' logo, of a flaming torch planted on the location of Melbourne, on a map of Australia. The Olympic rings are above the flame. Below is the image of two soccer players. Inscription: 'OLYMPIC GAMES/MELBOURNE AUSTRALIA/1956/ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL/MAIN STADIUM/(Melbourne Cricket Ground)/SEMI-FINALS/Tuesday, 4th December and Wednesday, 5th December, 1956/OFFICIAL PROGRAMME - ONE SHILLING'. The semi-finals played were: Bulgaria v. India (05 Dec.), and, U.S.S.R. v. Bulgaria (06 Dec.).
