Brief Description
A postcard of a poster. A full colour facsimilie of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games poster. It comprisies of a large, white invitation card, opened out, upon a blue background. The back fold features the coat-of-arms of the City of Melbourne, whilst the front fold features the Olympic rings emblem. Inscription: 'OLYMPIC GAMES/MELBOURNE/22 NOV - 8 DEC/1956'. Designed by Richard Beck. It was reproduced as a postcard by the I.O.C. in 1984.
