Brief Description
Postcard of a poster. Poster depicts a group of semi-naked male athletes making the Olympic salute. In the background is the flag of France. In the left foreground is a shield featuring the coat-of-arms of the city of Paris. In the right foreground are two crossed palms, representing victory. Inscription, in French: 'PARIS_1924/VIIIe OLYMPIADE/JEUX OLYMPIQUES'. Poster was designed by Jean Droit. It was reproduced as a postcard by the I.O.C. in 1983.
