Brief Description
Postcard of a poster. A full colour facsimilie of the 1920 Antwerp Olympic Games poster. It features an illustration depicting the flags of the Olympic nations all flying together. In the upper right corner is the Antwerp coat-of-arms. In the centre is a bronze statue of a discus-thrower, in reference to the ancient games. In the background is the host city, featuring the tower of Notre Dame cathedral. Designed by Martha van Kuyk and Walter van der Ven, this poster was reproduced as a postcard by the I.O.C. in 1983.
