Brief Description
Smoking pipe that consists of two parts that are attached together. The barrel has been constructed from polished wood whilst the mouthpiece has been constructed from a black coloured plastic. The manufacturers name has been inscribed into the mouthpiece just near where it meets the barrel. The inscription reads, "BARLING". This inscription is repeated again vertically through the centre to form a cross. There is also an inscription on the side of the barrel which reads, "Barling / 3535 / LONDON ENGLAND". This pipe was used by Ian Johnson (cricketer) during the mid to late 20th century.
