Souvenir letter opener with original packaging from the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Gold coloured metal opener with a flaming torch design, flanked by two crossed victory palms. In front is the Olympic rings emblem, with two banners below inscribed with, "MELBOURNE" and "1956".
