Oil on Belgian linen framed painting by Nick Howson depicting a football player taking an overhead mark. A Collingwood FC player is shown in the air reaching to mark the football with a Carlton FC player jumping from behind with their arm stretched to reach the ball. The players are set on an oval with a crowd in a suburban background. Lower right corner has been initialed by artist. Inscription written on back of canvas reads "OVERHEAD MARK/ 2019/ PIES VS BLUES/ N. HOWSON".
