Brief Description
Souvenir medal and presentation case issued by the Australian Olympic Committee. Medal is inscribed with "THE OFFICIAL SYDNEY/ CELEBRATION DINNER" around an image of the Sydney Opera House and the Southern Cross. Reverse of medal is inscribed with "SYDNEY 2000/ THE HOST CITY FOR THE XXVII OLYMPIC GAMES" with images of a torch, Olympic rings and a ribbon. Gold coloured, round medal housed in a blue velvet covered presentation case with red velvet lining. Inside lid of presentation case is inscribed with "AUSTRALIAN OLYMPIC COMMITTEE".
