Brief Description
Wooden trophy with a metal plaque on the front face, gold colour with black print, the image on the plaque is a series of 5 pentagon shapes arranged in pyramid style, two on the top and three on the bottom, inside each shape is a representational image of each event in the Pentathlon; shooting, equestrian, fencing, swimming and cross country running. The text on the plaque reads, "XXVIII WORLD / MODERN PENTATHLON / CHAMPIONSHIPS / MELBOURNE / AUSTRALIA / 1985".
