Brief Description
Three manila folders, 2 tan, 1 white and a padded envelope. Material includes two design templates for the name "BATES", blueprints of a bicycle and a display window, pages of photocopied, printed information and images, letters, pages of books and newspaper clippings. Items mostly associated with cycling, subjects include: bicycle manufacture, articles on famous cyclists and the evolution of bicycle models. Padded envelope from Eric Gibaud to R. L Bates and contains 13 photocopied pages mostly related to Gibaud's cycling career with handwritten notes. Letters related to Eric Gibaud in manila folders
