Brief Description
Two conch shells from Fiji that have been pierced with a hole each. Used for communication purposes by blowing through the hole, this type of device is known as a 'davui', or ceremonial trumpet. These davuis were presented to E.J. Marsden, who organised the first Fijian Cricket Team Tour to Australia, by the Fijian people.
