Brief Description
A silver medal awarded to Bruce Davey. The medal features a naked male figure, holding a towel and palm frond, leaning on a shield with raised lettering EDUCATION/DEPARTMENT/VICTORIA/SWIMMING/AND/LIFESAVING. The reverse features a seated Nereid holding a trident, accompanied by two children playing in the sea, with a dolphin. The rim of the medal is engraved: BRUCE DAVEY 1934-35.
