Brief Description
A facsimile of a two-page letter written by Australian Hockey Association Life Councillor, George Moir, to friend, the editor of 'Hockey Circle' magazine, Hec Cormie. Moir writes of the passing of former Victorian Hockey teammate Mick Van Assche, and Moir's brother, Alan John Moir, who was also prominent in Victorian Hockey, but also Australian Rules Football, Horse Racing, and Victorian politics. Moir also writes of his contribution of material to the Yarra Valley Hockey Club, which was writing a history of one of its two parent clubs, Ivanhoe H.C., of which Moir was a member.
