Brief Description
Copies of two letters stapled together, issued on the 16th and 29th of December, 1971 respectively, by Avery Brundage, president of the I.O.C., regarding the strict adherence to the I.O.C. rules by the National Olympic Committees sending teams to the 1972 Sapporo Olympic Winter Games. The specific rules regard the inclusion of amateur athletes only in national teams, and the prohibition of any advertisements which would be worn or displayed by NOC athletes or officials during the Games.
