Brief Description
Five fold medals awarded to John Birnie Marshall for winning freestyle swimming events at Australian Championships 1948-1949. Awarded by the Amateur Swimming Union of Australia. Gold coin-like medals with the Australian Coat of Arms and association title on one side. Opposite side features four swimmers poised at end of pool with engraved details of race, recipient, date and time.
