Brief Description
A plaque presented to the Melbourne Sports Depot in acknowledgement of the support given by them to the Australian Olympic Team who competed in the 1968 Mexico Olympic Games. Gold coloured plate is fastened to a wood backing. The Olympic Rings and the Mexican Olympic Games logo are beneath text that reads in part "PRESENTED TO THE / MELBOURNE SPORTS DEPOT / IN APPRECIATION OF / ENCOURAGEMENT AND SUPPORT..." There is a "CHRISTIE'S" sticker in the lower right hand corner.
