Brief Description
The Los Angeles Times National Sports Award of Merit presented to John Marshall for men's swimming in 1950. Silver medallion presented in a black leather case. Medallion features raised design of an eagle perched on a feather and a sword in front of the 'Stars and Stripes' emblem. Raised title around the edge. Reverse features engraved details of award, recipient and year. Case has a hinged lid with blue velvet lining.
