Brief Description
Group of 12 medals. Eleven of the medals were awarded for participation in the Olympic Dream 10 kilometre fun run for each of the years 1990 - 2000. Each round silver medal is attached to a synthetic ribbon. The fronts of the medals feature a raised hand holding an Olympic torch and the year of the event. The reverse of each features images of noted Australian medal winners of the past, including Edwin Flack, Freddie Lane, the Wallabies, Sarah Durack, Frank Beaurepaire, Boy Charlton, Bobby Pearce, Edgar Gray, Merv Wood, Marjorie Jackson and Betty Cuthbert. The 12th medal was awarded for participation in the Olympic Dream 200 kilometre Team Run in 1992.
