Brief Description
Official report, 760pp + hardcover, custom made box; "'THE OFFICIAL REPORT / OF / THE ORGANIZING COMMITTEE / FOR THE GAMES / OF THE / XVI OLYMPIAD / MELBOURNE 1956". Report is bound in dark brown leather; cover features Olympic Cauldron and Rings, with gilt inscription: "XVI / OLYMPIAD / MELBOURNE / 1956"; gilt inscription and detailing on spine; marbled endpapers. Box is also bound in dark brown leather, no markings or inscriptions, dark green felt lining.
