Brief Description
Pennant, small, felt and badge; "FIFTH / BRITISH EMPIRE / AND / COMMONWEALTH GAMES // AUSTRALIAN BOWLING REPRESENTATIVES / VANCOUVER - CANADA - 1954"; painted yellow text and Australia, grey kangaroo, two bowls and one jack. Gold braided cord attached to either end of wooden rod threaded through hem at top; gold braided cord fringing at lower edge. Small, light and dark green enamelled badge in the shape of Australia and boomerang fixed to bottom centre of pennant. "AUSTRALIAN BOWLERS / 1954 / EMPIRE GAMES VANCOUVER" and mock coat of arms with kangaroo, emu, and bowl.
