Brief Description
Olympic Guernsey worn by Denis Cordner during an Australian Rules amateur exhibition match at the 1956 Olympic Games. Cordner played in the combined VFL and VFA team which were defeated by the VAFA team.
Physical description: Green finely knitted wool jumper, with white collar and cuffs and the number 1 on the back in the same green. Sewn on the front, in a felt material, are the coloured Olympic rings. The rugby-style neck closes with two black plastic buttons.
