Brief Description
Group of blazer pockets, cloth badges and an Australian Olympic tie used by swimmer John Marshall 1947-1956. The 5 pockets range from the Australian Swimming Championships 1946-7 and 1956 to the Olympic Games 1956. Included is a black pocket with black/yellow and green/white ribbons trimming the top and metallic embroidery which read: "S/XVII - S/ALT/ERA/TFR/RA". Two cloth badges feature the Australian Coat of Arms and a red, blue and white shield with gold embroidered rooster 1956 and the Olympic Rings.
