Engraved trophy awarded to Dr. John Lill by the Victorian Olympic Council. Polished chrome Olympic Torch fixed to wood base. Engraved plate affixed to the base reads: "TO DR. JOHN LILL/IN APPRECIATION/VICTORIAN OLYMPIC COUNCIL" The Olympic Torch bears the text: "1956 : OLYMPIA - MELBOURNE : XVI OLYMPIAD"
