Brief Description
A 48-page (cover inclusive) magazine. Edition of 'Pix' (22 December, 1956, Vol. 44, No. 3). Cover features black and white photo image of Australian swimmers, from background to foreground, Sandra Morgan (partly obscured, Lorraine Crapp (facing camera), Dawn Fraser, and Faith Leech, after their gold medal in the Women's 4x100-metre relay. Medals were presented by I.O.C. administrator, Prince Axel of Denmark. Olympic articles in Issue focus on this gold medal victory, and many others from various Olympic sports.
