Brief Description
A 48-page (cover exclusive, unnumbered) magazine. Edition of 'World Basketball News' (October, 1956, No.2). Cover features an unofficial version of the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games emblem design, with a flaming torch planted upon the Australian continent (but erroneously upon the location of Adelaide- not Melbourne!) Down the spine of the front cover is the title: 'WORLD BASKETBALL NEWS'. Feature article regards the city of Melbourne, and its lead up to the 1956 Olympic Games as host city.
