Brief Description
Bronze coloured Participation medallion awarded to an athlete (unknown) for taking part in the 1948 London Olympic Games. Obverse features a cityscape view of London, with text below that reads "XIV OLYMPIAD / LONDON / 1948" followed by the Olympic Rings. Reverse features two men, one the winner, being drawn in a four horse chariot (quadriga).
