Brief Description
Framed section of athletics track that was laid down at the Melbourne Cricket Ground for the track and field event component of the 2006 Commonwealth Games. This section of the track appears on the left side and is accompanied by two colour photographs to the right. The top image depicts the finish of the Mens 100m Final. The image below this depicts fireworks over Central Melbourne during the opening ceremony. All three parts of this framed work are captioned and the there is a general caption along the bottom of the mount with the games motif. The framers sticker is attached to the back.
