Programme, 16pp + cover; grey textured cover, title: "THE ORGANISING COMMITTEE FOR THE / XVITH OLYMPIAD, MELBOURNE, 1956 / HOUSING AND CATERING DIRECTORATE / OPERATION / "GET SET" / OLYMPIC VILLAGE / SEPTEMBER 1/2ND, 8/9TH, 15/16TH". 'Operation "Get Set"', was a three weekend course held at the Heidelberg Olympic Village, allowing people associated with the organisation of the 1956 Olympic Games, to trial, and experience first-hand, how life will be for the athletes and officials living at the Village throughout the course of the Games. Along with the programme are messages from the relevant Organising Committee executives, menus, an Olympic Village staff list, a directory, and a Village map. Stamps "RESTRICTED", "HERALD LIBRARY" on cover. Included are two loose-leaf sheets regarding accommodation arrangements.
