Brief Description
Piece of brick that formed part of the 1883 Grandstand at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This piece was unearthed during the demolition of the 1956 Olympic Stand at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in the course of the northern redevelopment of the ground that took place during the mid 2000s. There is piece of concrete attached to this brick which may have been overlaid onto the brick during the construction of the Olympic Stand in the 1950s.
