Brief Description
Collection of four newspaper clippings and newspaper pages relating to various sports in particular cycling and the Australian cyclist Chris Wheeler. Other articles relate to horse racing, boxing, wrestling and football. Extracted from newspapers in 1939. They include a front page from "The Leader" Pictorial Section, 1st July 1939 which features a black and white photograph of cyclists on the Lancefield Road.
