Brief Description
Thick pocket sized booklet entitled "OFFICIAL/ Guide/ XVI OLYMPIAD, MELBOURNE, 1956" and two folded maps printed as supplements and found inside. One map is of Melbourne and its surroundings and one of railways and trams. Guide published by Melbourne Junior Chamber of Commerce for the 1956 Olympic Organising Committee. Cover is white with Olympic rings in the top right and a gilt outline of an ancient Greek head in profile on the left. The words "OFFICIAL/ Guide" are in the centre.
