Brief Description
Programme entitled "OPERATION "GET SET" ", issued by the Housing and Catering Directorate of the 1956 Olympic Organising Committee and newspaper articles, letters, handwritten notes and documents found within the front cover. Items are associated with three practice runs for the 1956 Olympics held between 1 - 16th September at the Heidelberg Olympic Village. Cover of programme is grey and plain with black print in the front centre. It includes menus, lists of participants and observers on the course, programmes of events, information on transport and accommodation and a map of the Olympic Village.
