Brief Description
Black and white photograph of two people posing in front of a house. At right is Australian track athlete, Shirley Strickland, posing with a friend, known as 'Jack'. The photo was taken in June 1952, prior to the departure of the Australian Olympic Team, from Sydney, for Helsinki, Finland, for the Olympic Games. This photograph is accompanied by its original brown storage envelope, with the word 'cable' written across the back.
