Brief Description
Black and white photograph of five people posing in front of a house. Across the back, from left to right, are Australian track athletes, Winsome Cripps, Verna Johnston, and, Shirley Strickland. In front are an elderly couple, the male known as 'Jack'. The photo was taken in June, 1952, prior to the departure of the Australian Olympic Team, from Sydney, for Helsinki, Finland, for the Olympic Games.
