Brief Description
Large shield presented by the Victorian Women's Amateur Ex-Athlete's club. The shield is made of varnished wood and is decorated with a central wreath featuring two female athletes running on green grass to a finishing line. Arranged around the wooden plaque are 17 small metal shields - five blank and the remainder engraved with the names of past winners. Dates are from 1975-1986. Inscription engraved at top gives name of event and presenter. Inscription at the bottom, engraved, "OPEN 100 METRES/VICTORIAN CHAMPIONSHIP".
