Brief Description
Trophy, tall silver cup on stem, decorative handles and rim. Engraved inscription on side of bowl: "The Barnet Glass Cup / Famous "Ixion" / Bendigo Melbourne Road Race / 92 Miles / September 10th 1932 / Fastest Time Prize / Presented by / Barnet Glass Rubber Company Ltd / Won by / E Milliken (Scr.) / Time 4hrs 3mins 36 secs". Hand engraved on underside of base: "1272/S"; stamp on underside of base: "EPNS". Bowl sits lopsidedly on stem; two large dents on side with inscription, smaller dents on opposite side, and on rim midway up stem. Lid, trophy, silver. Handle section affixed to top of lid with thread and round ridged nut on underside. Noticeable dent at top of lid under handle.
