Brief Description
Bronze medal won by Ivan Stedman for third place in a 100 metres swim at the Inter-allied Games in Paris in 1919. Obverse features two male athletes receiving a laurel wreath from a female figure. Text along lower edge reads "CORPORIS ROBUR / et HABILITAS. Reverse features sporting equipment and an engraved rectangular plaque framed by a wreath. Inscription reads "100 METER SWIM / Third / BOMBER I. STEDMAN / AUSTRALIA". Text in legend reads "INTERALLIED GAMES / PERSHING STADIUM / PARIS JUNE 1919".
