Brief Description
White card folder embossed with the Olympic rings and coat of arms of Melbourne. There is a light blue ribbon around the spine. Inside is a white sheet printed with text and a logo and is signed. This is overlaid with a clear plastic printed sheet. The letter is an invitation to National Olympic Committees to send athletes to participate for their Countries at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. Letter signed by Melbourne Organising Committee chairman, Wilfrid Kent-Hughes.
