Black and white photograph; group of ten men in swimming costumes and two in street clothes, on timber bench on promenade or pier. Ivan Stedman is obscured by foreign material (paper with type) partially covering image. Boy Charlton is seated in front row, second from left. Handwritten inscriptions (in part) on verso: "January Melb V Sydney Club Compitition {sic} / Sydney 1927."
