Black and white photograph; group of three men and one woman in swimming costumes, on timber deck in front of weatherboard pavilion. Left to right: Keith Kirkland, Lily Beaurepaire, William Herald, Frank Beaurepaire. In the background are people in street clothes looking on. Handwritten inscriptions on verso (in part): "Shelly / beach / baths / 1920 / Auckland". Photograph possibly taken on voyage to or from the 1920 Antwerp Olympic Games; Stedman is possibly the photographer in this instance, as he also competed at these Games.
