Brief Description
Postcard, used; black and white photograph of old English pub. Inscription (type) on front: "THE ANGEL HOTEL, TOPCLIFFE" (partially obscured). Inscription (hand-written) on front: "In Loving / Memory of Steak / & Kidney. R.I.P. / 22/8/24." Primary inscriptions (hand-written) from three on verso: "During English / Tour 1920 / After Winning English / 100 yds Free Style at / {obscured/illegible} / following Antwerp Olympiad 1920". Much of inscription is partially obscured.
